 I am like a tree.
For a season, I grow
I am strong, bountiful and full of life
For a season I am strong.

I am like a tree.
I grow out the fruit
to be plucked by those who need nourishment
to provide shade and shelter for those
who need comfort and rest.
They will look up at me in awe.

I am like a tree.
When the winter comes,
I lose my fruit, my leaves are blown off.
I can no longer provide or care for others.

I am a tree.
No one cares to be near me, but there are those
who will come to hide behind me,
to etch their names of love in my bark.

I am a tree.
No one provides for me,
except the giver of life.

I am a tree.
They come and cut me down.
a stump is left.
I am a tree.

I was sent a video this week, that confirmed just how crazy Christianity has become.  And Surprise its coming from a group organized in a Baptist Church. No wonder us Christians are looked upon the way we are… Shirly Phelps-Roper is from Topeka, Kansas and belongs to a soldier funeral protest group which is also affiliated with her church.

April 6th, 2006, Army Spc. Daniel Sesker was killed in Iraq when an explosive device detonated near his humvee. When over 1,000 gathered for his funeral, Roper and others gathered with hate signs reading "Thank God for Dead Soldiers" , "Fags Go To Hell", etc.

Again, fundamentalist and in this case "psychotic" churches are turning their "political party" into interference of people’s lives, and involving homosexuals as the cause for soldier’s deaths, and September 11th. Apparently they are to blame for all of these travesties.

Take a look for yourself.

The Portrait of the Teacher Idealist (eNFj)

The Idealists called Teachers are abstract in their thought and speech, cooperative in their style of achieving goals, and directive and extraverted in their interpersonal relations. Learning in the young has to be beckoned forth, teased out from its hiding place, or, as suggested by the word "education," it has to be "educed." by an individual with educative capabilities. Such a one is the eNFj, thus rightly called the educative mentor or Teacher for short. The Teacher is especially capable of educing or calling forth those inner potentials each learner possesses. Even as children the Teachers may attract a gathering of other children ready to follow their lead in play or work. And they lead without seeming to do so.

Teachers expect the very best of those around them, and this expectation, usually expressed as enthusiastic encouragement, motivates action in others and the desire to live up to their expectations. Teachers have the charming characteristic of taking for granted that their expectations will be met, their implicit commands obeyed, never doubting that people will want to do what they suggest. And, more often than not, people do, because this type has extraordinary charisma.

The Teachers are found in no more than 2 or 3 percent of the population. They like to have things settled and arranged. They prefer to plan both work and social engagements ahead of time and tend to be absolutely reliable in honoring these commitments. At the same time, Teachers are very much at home in complex situations which require the juggling of much data with little pre-planning. An experienced Teacher group leader can dream up, effortlessly, and almost endlessly, activities for groups to engage in, and stimulating roles for members of the group to play. In some Teachers, inspired by the responsiveness of their students or followers, this can amount to genius which other types find hard to emulate. Such ability to preside without planning reminds us somewhat of an Provider, but the latter acts more as a master of ceremonies than as a leader of groups. Providers are natural hosts and hostesses, making sure that each guest is well looked after at social gatherings, or that the right things are expressed on traditional occasions, such as weddings, funerals, graduations, and the like. In much the same way, Teachers value harmonious human relations about all else, can handle people with charm and concern, and are usually popular wherever they are. But Teachers are not so much social as educational leaders, interested primarily in the personal growth and development of others, and less in attending to their social needs.

Mikhail Gorbachev is an example of a Teacher Idealist.

the catch

when you’re young,
your whole life is about a pursuit of fun.
then, you grow up and learn to be cautious.
you could break a bone or a heart.
you look before you leap and sometimes you don’t leap at all,
because there is not always someone there to catch you.
and in life, there’s no safety net.
when did it stop being fun and start being scary?

JAMES B. EPTING is the President of North Greenville College in South Carolina.  Now why should The Fuzz point this out??  It has come to our attention that under his direction, the Southern Baptist affiliated University is going to EXTREME measures to cleanse its student body, by disposing of those students who display . . . or maybe are heard of displaying gruesome conduct, i.e. drinking an alcoholic beverage.  What is the punishment?? Suspension . . . losing scholarships . . . no.   Much worse.  Immediate Expulsion.  Thats the buzz on the street anyhow.. or the fuzz, should I say ;) .

It doesn’t stop there however.  From a certain .. source. It is now said that the university is hooking up students to a LIE DETECTOR test to see if they have been in the presence of alcohol, and are lying about it.  Now how many of us, that maybe don’t even drink are in the presence of alcohol every day??! Almost every restaurant I know of serves alcohol, and in my particular church an alcoholic beverage was served to me THIS MORNING, by my priest~ . . . so I guess I’m expelled.

There goes my higher education—out the door, and HEAVENS! what about my salvation?????

Guess I didn’t meet the school slogan goal:

"Committed to quality education in a biblically sound, Christ-centered environment"

Are we really Committed ? And what are we committed to? A Christ-centered environment. I thought Christ died for everyone. Even those of us who follow the laws and drink out of the communion cup, whether in or out of the church building.

The FUZZ, The "GAY" Agenda 5:38 am

This was a letter posted on a blog site, as a response to a particular writer on the gay community:

"As a 21 year old, Ivy-educated gay man, I find it interesting, albeit predictable, that older gay men are lamenting the death of gay culture. Frankly, I’ll be much happier once drag shows and camp goes out the window. Unfortunately, I feel sincerely that the prevalence of sex shops and theaters, the celebration of farcical dress, and the obsession older gays have with a separate minority identity have done little outside give fodder to the religious right and keep us out of the mainstream. In fact, I feel that the older generation has done a great disservice by not giving us real role models and, instead, taking joy in anonymous sex in darkened theaters, dissolution of the family model, and wallowing in outrageousness. All of these things have contributed to a gay culture wherein I, as a politically active, liberal, professional, educated, monogamous, partnered, JCrew/LL Bean wearing, HIV Negative man am an unfortunate minority.

How am I supposed to support gay leadership when they seemingly endorse a culture of death (excessive partying, no interest in children, HIV, anonymous sex, etc.) and lament whenever another pit of self disrespect (i.e. sex shops/theaters, drag theaters) is closed? I truly love you and your words, Andrew, but enough is enough. Let us move on together and create a real culture with a real future and abandon the culture of separatist victimization we were forced into years ago by a repressive society."

Interesting Read, eh?
